ISAIAH 30:18, “And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him“.

God is a God of patience: if you don’t have patience, you cannot enjoy him. If by your time you are late, know however that to all of God’s promises there is a set time.
If you are impatient, then forget about God — he is a God of patience. Impatience is a dangerous vice. Oh that the Lord help our patience! Just like the father of the epileptic boy who said: “…help my unbelief”, so we ought to say: ” Lord, help our impatience”.
There is a treasure called patience whose absence in the collection of jewels leaves an awful void. When we talk about the riches of a rich soul, the virtue of patience is one of the jewels. You lack it, you will suffer for it.
There are things only patience can afford, and if you don’t have patience, you can’t have them. In Isaiah 30:18, we see two waitings: one by God; the other by those who trust in him. God waits; you wait. God waited 460 years to bring the children of Israel out of Egypt a great nation. God waited for you to first be born before becoming born again. He waited for you to come of age. When God called Moses to deliver Israel, He waited patiently for him to be born, After which God waited for him to grow and mature. Moses couldn’t go as an infant to stand against Pharaoh. God waited patiently, not because He has patience, but because He is patience.
You better wait! Blessed are they that wait for him. Many today are receiving from the devil what they can receive from God. Why? They simply will not exercise patience. God does not only make a thing happen, he waits to see it happen, so wait to see it happen.
