Faith is fight. Christianity is a call to victory. We wrestle…, says the Bible in Ephesians 6:12. You must be gallant enough to fight. The Bible says,

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called… 1 Timothy 6:12

From the above scripture we see that though you are called to eternal life, you must fight to lay hold on what you are called to.

When you understand your heritage in Christ, you must be ready to fight off the adversary, Satan, who has no right to make you experience otherwise. You must fight with an angry spirit and blazing red eyes against anything that doesn’t want your life to have the colour which the truth of God’s word gave it. Once you have got it right with God on any issue, anything such as sickness, disease, death, fear, poverty, barrenness, witchcraft, etc including the devil that wants you to live below the provision of God’s word is asking for a death blow of fight. You must give it to it. You must fight! Arise and fight. Fight! Fight! Don’t take failure. Fight! Something is responsible in the spiritual realm that is why the evil is happening in the physical. Fight spiritual opposition so that there can be physical breakthrough. Ask the Lord for the spirit of a fighter. You must fight fear. Fear cripples. Arise and fight. Christianity is a fight! Fight! Fight! Fight now! The opposition will not bow unless you fight.

How to fight

Know the truth from God’s word as par what God says on the issue and fight with it. It is the truth you know that will set you free (Jn 8:32). Fight with your heart, your mouth, and your action.

Your heart

Fill your heart with the provision that God has made available to you in his word, for example: fruitfulness (Ex 23:25). Study the word so much on that subject till revelation breaks out to you. You are going to fight with that revelation in your spirit. Something must be in you to fight.

Understand that there is no reason why you should not enjoy God’s provision once you are faithful on your part of obedience to God and are doing what you are supposed to do. Engage your faith that the word of God is the truth and can’t fail– don’t take Satan’s otherwise– you want to fight him remember. Fill your heart with faith and blazing anger that what is wrong with that devil, that barrenness, that chronic singlehood, that spirit of sickness, etc ? what is its problem? Is it your creator? How dare it frustrate your life? Even if it is were mad, the madness must stop! Personify the problem in your heart and deal with it spiritually. Every thing has its root in the spiritual and is answerable to a command.

Your mouth

Engage your mouth. Speak, speak, speak. Angels are waiting for what you will say. The very opposition is watching for what you can say. Use the sword of God’s word against it by quoting God’s word to it. Curse it, eg: Barrenness, you expire in Jesus name. It is very important to curse the affliction. David cursed Goliath before he physically died. Condemn it with your mouth. Rebuke it in the name of Jesus. Command it in the name of Jesus. Only command makes sense in the realm of the spirit. No body is too small to issue a command in the realm of the spirit. You either issue a command or nothing responds at all. Release the blood weapon against the opposition to destroy it. Contend in prayers. Pray the Word, pray the Blood. Keep the word of God in your mouth, for you are to do battle with your mouth.

Take delivery of God’s promise by commanding what is promised to come to you, and by confessing that you take what is promised in the name of Jesus. It works!

Arise and Fight! Prayer is fight. Fight against the opposition! Pray in the Holy Ghost, that is, speak in tongues — it is our weapon of war. (Eph 6:18)

Your action

Take step of faith against the opposition. Action also speaks. It speaks louder than word. Just be mad against the opposition.

Fast to engaged your whole spirit in the resistance against the opposition.

Don’t weep over that situation. Arise and fight.
